I am a marriage and family therapist because I love to help people. It is not what I do; it is who I am. My formative interactions were filled with seeing struggle and helping. I was always the one people came to when they were having a hard time. When I decided what to do with the rest of my life the answer was pretty obvious.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology at CSU Chico graduating Cum Laude with Honors in the major. I earned a Masters degree in Counselor Education at CSU Sacramento. I love school and learning, and I have continued attending conferences and seminars including advanced training in Hypnosis.
In my practice I focus on what is right with the people and relationships I work with. I take a look at things that have not gone so well only to learn how those can be made right as well. I am a Christian and bring my faith into my work as requested.
In my life as well as my work I seek to Add Life to the Years through better understanding of self and others, more peaceful connections, and adding pleasant humor to every day.
